✝️ Prophetic Charge: Social Media and the Great Commission by: Dr. Gladys Dark
God has given Christians the greatest ministry platform in history — it’s called social media.
With one post, one video, one message, the gospel can reach thousands, even millions, across the nations.
This is the digital highway for the Great Commission:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19).
But the enemy has tricked many of us.
Instead of using this gift to proclaim Christ, we use it for:
Foolish arguments and endless debates.
Mocking people, tearing each other down.
Flaunting wealth, bodies, or vain lifestyles.
Spreading gossip, rumors, and falsehoods.
Idolizing celebrities and following worldly trends.
Selling our souls and values for “Likes”
Jesus warned us: “For whoever is ashamed of me and my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory” (Luke 9:26).
Yet many believers boldly post everything — except the Gospel.
As a prophet, I charge the Body of Christ today:
Repent and realign your voice!
Social media is not just entertainment — it is a pulpit. It is your mission field. It is your lampstand in the digital world.
Use it to:
Share the Word of God without fear.
Testify of Jesus and what He’s done in your life.
Encourage the broken, the lost, the depressed, and the wandering.
Shine light in dark spaces.
Beloved, the harvest is still plentiful, and the laborers are still few (Matthew 9:37).
Don’t let your timeline be filled with everything but Christ. The Spirit of the Lord says: “Lift Me up, and I will draw all men unto Me” (John 12:32).
This is your prophetic charge: change the way you use your platform. Heaven is watching, souls are waiting, and time is short.
Let your posts echo Eternity.
