The main point of Genesis 10, often called the "Table of Nations," is to trace the lineage of Noah's 3 sons (Shem, Ham, and Japheth,) and demonstrate how they populated the earth after the Great Flood, forming the various nations and peoples of the world. It provides a historical and geographical framework for understanding the diversity of humanity and serves as a foundation for understanding the origins of different cultures and languages. This text also shows how their families expanded and became the various nations and peoples.
Divine Sovereignty
Despite the diversity, Genesis 10 emphasizes God's sovereign oversight of history and His plan for humanity, including the eventual path to salvation.
Observation and Reflection:
✅3 Sons ( Father, Son, Holy Spirit)
✅ Expansion of generations and nations
( fruitful and multiply) LEGACY
✅”Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah,Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.”
This makes me think upon our sonship and our responsibility to discipleship to develop/birth sons and daughters after all the test and trials of life.
We have a work to do!
⚔️📖🌺Let us Remember!
We are of the lineage of a new bloodline and of a new covenant that is in Jesus Christ.
So let us remember to not get stuck in our biological blood lines. Yes, we should learn and understand it but know and understand your new bloodline in Christ. We have been born again and We are new creatures.
Understand your new Birthright and what is attached to your new blood line and walk and live there in! 🙏🏽💪🏽
